Murder, She Wrote

There’s no other television show like ‘Murder, She Wrote.’ It was one of the best detective shows I ever watched starring Angela Lansbury as Jessica Fletcher, a writer who uncovers the most difficult cases the cops couldn’t solve. I just love mystery novels and anything to do with criminal investigations. So it was one of my favourite and best TV series, though I haven’t managed to see all the episodes. I just can’t get my hands on any of the episodes.

And I know this might sound geeky but that’s why I started watching Crime Night on Discovery channel every Thursday night, although soon after I got married I stopped recording them because the Showtime wouldn’t stop showing the same episodes over and over again. Plus, I don’t know of any cable that works in this same manner ever.

The other day I just started watching Monk, which is another great detective show all about an ex-policeman with an obsessive compulsive disorder; starring Tony Shalhoub, a very talented actor. I sort of like it now.

Game Shows

I really loved watching the two tv game shows: Jeopardy and The Wheel of Fortune on MBC 4 but after the tsunami they sort of stopped showing it for few months or more, at least that’s what I thought all this time, just until two days ago. When at 10 am I turned on MBC 4 and I was so surprised to see that they’re still showing my two favourite game shows but now on different times. I was just so happy. Though I have one more favourite game show that I haven’t seen in a long time on the Showtime and I don’t know why it’s not showing anymore: The Price is Right. I’m so addicted to them. One sweet day, I’d really love to attend one of those game shows.

4 Kings

Four Kings is the new comedy TV show we are watching, and it’s so so funny. Starring: Josh Cooke as Ben, Seth Green as Barry, Shane McRae as Bobby, and Todd Grinnell as Jason.

In short, it’s all about four childhood friends and their current experiences as roommates. Out of all of them, I think Todd Grinnell is the funniest, while Seth Green is the silliest.

I’m so Lost!

We finished watching season one of Lost yesterday, and even though I watched bits and pieces of it because all the time I’d fall asleep during the episodes, I must say it’s really cool, and the more we watched, the more we got confused loool!

P.s. Hugo needs a haircut!

Done!

First, I’d like to wish my sister-in-law a happy b-day! I hope you liked your gift …

Here’s a quick thing I have to say before I retire to bed. Well, I can’t believe we’re done from season one of Desperate Housewives! We’d usually sit together, me, my sister, my husband, and the baby. Yep, and all of us trying so hard to focus!

Actually, let me rephrase that, I’d stand up, most of the time, holding the baby in my arms, rocking and singing to him, and pausing every now and then so I can change his diapers, not to mention the spit ups, while everyone else tried so hard to concentrate with the show and the baby’s innocent crying or should I say screams! Nevertheless, I must say we’ve enjoyed it! Now, we’re at season two, 2nd episode!

And something else, my co-workers told me today that my computer is officially not functioning at all! Great! I’d have to pass by sometime this week to try fixing it; otherwise I have to beg my sweet husband to have a look at it!

Note: I burned my arms accidentally today, while I was trying to warm the water, somehow I got my arms on the hot faucet … so I have a minor 2nd degree burn, which started to bubble now! Maybe I should have it checked by the doctors tomorrow morning.

2nd Favourite TV Show

Sunday, December 18th, 2005

We’ve started watching Desperate Housewives and already I’ve associated myself with Lynette Scavo, the stay-at- home mom! I’ve also convinced my little sister to watch it with us, and now we’ve reached episode 15 14. I can’t wait to see the next one …
