and I’m addicted already to this new show, called The Secret Life of an American Teenager. I watched three episodes in one go. It’s really cool.

Weekend shows

Saturday, July 14th, 2007

List of shows I’ve watched during the weekend:

24 – I started season 2 and I’m on the edge all the way.
My name is Earl – Meemo’s been nagging me for sometime to start watching it and I did yesterday for the sake of proving to her that I’m open and willing accept new things. I’m not into funny shows but this isn’t only funny it’s so hilarious. I couldn’t stop cracking up the minute we put it on.
American Inventor – I hate the judges and it has become so boring in it’s second season.
So you think you can dance – it is still cool in it’s third season and I can’t help trying out some contemporary moves as I’m watching it lol.

I’m into 24

It’s crazy but I think I’m addicted to 24, I’ve watched 6 episodes of season one all in one go and I can’t get enough of it.

Glued to

Sunday, March 11th, 2007

After watching a few episodes of num3ers, which doesn’t quite suit my taste, meemo was successful again in getting me tuned to the show Veronica Mars. I haven’t been watching anything but this show for the past few days. I don’t know what I should say about it, maybe it’s too early to say anything.

Dunstan Baby Language

Tuesday, December 19th, 2006

On Oprah Winfrey’s show (a one month old episode) they showed a lady (Dunstan) who claimed to understand baby’s language by special sounds that babies make before crying. It’s an interesting idea I like it but how reliable it is? From my own experience there are certain cry patterns or signs you can look for to know what a baby wants but you can never know for sure

Sounds:

Neh-for hunger.

Owh-baby’s sleepy.

Heh-for discomfort.

Eair-for gas.

Eh-for burp.

The Jake Effect

The Jake Effect is all about a successful lawyer called Jake, who decides that he’s not into law anymore and shifted to teaching history. It’s narrated by his room mate. This show is a comedy. I’m not into comedy but this is so different than any other shows I’ve seen. It’s so much funny and it made me laugh for real. I really don’t understand why this show was canceled by NBC in 2003 before it even aired, maybe I’ll know why once I see the last episode.

New Kuwaiti TV Series

Saturday, May 13th, 2006

I’m on my evening shift and there’s this tv crew I just saw a few minutes ago filming a new tv series for the holy month of Ramadan. I saw two not-so-famous actors doing this boring scene (sorry guys!) and they were repeating the same scene over and over again, more than 20 times so far!
