300

Wednesday, March 28th, 2007

I couldn’t resist not watching 300 last night after all the talk I heard about the movie. I only managed to see the first half of the movie until I couldn’t struggle anymore to keep my weary eyes from closing and I fell asleep. I can’t stay up to watch anything anymore. At least now I know what’s the buzz all about. I really think it’s cool so far.

BORAT

Sunday, December 17th, 2006

I would say Borat is a pure ‘evil comedy’ type of movie about a guy called Borat who leaves his home country to do a documentary film about America. I’m not into funny movies but I couldn’t stop laughing, it was so silly.

I liked the fact that this movie added a new touch to the movie industry in the way it was filmed because it feels so real in every way. But it sure was very controversial one that I’m positive it got harsh criticism.

Mary Alice Young

51.jpg I didn’t know that Mary Alice in Desperate Housewives or let me say Brenda Strong starred with Michelle Pfeiffer in the movie The Deep End of the Ocean author Jacquelyn Mitchard (99), which was showing today & yesterday on MBC 2. I watched this movie so many times and I know it back to front. It’s about a little boy who gets lost and later kidnapped by a mad and desperate woman. This movie is not only about every parent’s worst nightmare but every child’s dreadful fear of getting lost.

Munich

Friday, February 24th, 2006

I read Mark’s review about Munich, and I wanted to know more about what happened, so I watched it to the end yesterday, though I wanted to go to sleep in between. I was awake till 4 am. It was a good movie. But it was too long, just like Mark said, ‘things were was dragging.’

Out with Bloggers

Wednesday, May 25th, 2005

We met with some friendly bloggers yesterday at Fanar to see ‘Star Wars.’ I’m not into science fiction movies so I slept throughout the movie, but didn’t miss the ending for the world! I liked the plot, then again I thought the fighting was just too much for me. And, the baby wouldn’t stop kicking until quite past midnight, it probably had a terrible fright.

Later on, me and my hubby went to Sultan Center and bought sandwiches, which I ate in the car on our way back home, I thought if I waited until I got back home then I’d feel too sleepy to eat. I’m just so not used to waking up early and staying up late.

Overall, I enjoyed gathering up with bloggers, but didn’t get to know them very well though …
