Juicy Grapes!
Sunday, June 4th, 2006I somehow forgot to mention that last month I introduced yummie grapes to my baby’s diet and I think it’s his favourite fruit now.

I would’ve loved to hear my baby say ‘it’s deliskious’ after having his very first pasta meal today just like the Rugrats would do.
I’d simply say scrumptious …

At first I read it as FAT but then I looked at it again and it said F4T (now that sounds like a plane to me) which actually stands for Food 4 Thought. I’m not so sure which effect they were after but I like it anyways.
I placed my happy order yesterday at work. I had the Halloumi Heaven sandwich and carrot juice. It was very tasty except for the Rocca leaves, I really thought having it in a sandwich is a bit weird but then again it’s not your regular Halloumi sandwich this had balsamic vinegar added to it giving it a tangy yummie taste. It’s more like a Greeky salad only in Saj. It was very filling.
When it was time to leave I got in the lift. It was packed to the brim and I couldn’t help but laugh when someone said: “how in the hell can I get off the next floor!” I swear I never sucked in my tummy as much as this time. The funny thing the restaurant calls back to check on everything and I thought great timing. I couldn’t say much while I was trying not to laugh, I thanked the guy over the phone who barely even heard me because it was breaking up a lot. But I really thought that was such a great service.
Before digging in I took this last snap shot.

Ps. I forgot to mention that I paid Kd 2.200 which is a little expensive for one order.
I felt like LoFat food yesterday so I went ahead and placed my first order. I waited only 30 minutes or so until my food arrived. Like everyone had said I got my food fresh and warm. The only thing was that there was a mix up with my order so instead of getting the Chicken Grilled sandwich I got the Rocca salad with grilled chicken and as a result the restaurant decided to give it away as a complementary appetizer. Nice move! I had french fries as well as brownies, yummie!
In spite of the mix up with my food order I must say everything I had was super tasty even though I couldn’t chew very well and that’s due to my swollen gums! Oh and another thing I’d like to point out is I expected to get a bigger brownie for the price I had paid for. But nevertheless I think LoFat is way cheaper and much tastier comparing to Diet Center. And having the food delivered to home is a thumbs up too, though I was really hoping to find a nutritional fact sheet.
This yummie brownie costs 500 fils, I’d suggest 150 fils!

I went to see my father-in-law yesterday he got back a few days ago from a business trip to the u.s. I missed him so much. He got us Jujyfruits and Jujubes as well as other gifts. As soon as I tried one I couldn’t stop eating it one after the other. I can eat the entire box of Jujyfruits in seconds only!

I’ve been trying to feed my baby cottage cheese and he hates it! Perhaps there’s still a chance he might like other unprocessed cheese, but I’m not sure what I should buy?
I’ve also added a new food to his diet. I’ve given him celery and I haven’t seen any allergies yet. So next thing I need to work on is introducing wheat and bread.
P.s. My baby’s so allergic to papaya.
My mom told me about the new organic food section at Sultan Centre. It made me think whether or not I should really put my baby on an organic diet. So I went there the other day to shop for some groceries and I couldn’t find on the red shelves such a great variety of organic foods other than lettuce, cabbage, cucumbers, tomatoes and apples. I bought a few apples for my baby but I changed my mind about switching his diet to a fully organic diet, it’s quite impossible and far too expensive!
