attending both
Yesterday I paid my respects to my step-mother in law, her mother passed away a day ago. I want to go today as well because my sisters want to come with me this time. I won’t be making it on Friday though because I’m invited to a Wedding, it’s bad luck for the bride (chabsa-making the bride infertile), just in case superstition might be true. ٍI asked my friends at work what I should do. Of course they advised me not to go to their funeral on the 3rd day, which I wasn’t going to do anyways. Then I was told if I’ll be going today I can, as long as I go somewhere else before going back home. I want to play it safe too, I don’t want to offend any people even if it’s not real …

i dont believe its bad luck. but u know it reminds me of the egyptian seres i love, 7adeeth alsaba7 wal masa2. every episode begins with a wedding, ends with a death.. amazing portrayal of how life keeps going.
