I called NBK so that they can send my new e-pin to a closer branch to home. She asked for the last digits of my atm card, I gave it to her, then she stated that she won’t be able to send it to a closer branch because I haven’t picked up my new atm card from my far away branch! What new atm card! She said it’s all over the news, and starting from last month all NBK atm cards are replaced with newer ones. She said: “you’ll have to pass by your branch anyways, it’s pointless sending it to another closer branch.” Plus, why can’t they send my new atm card to a closer branch too?
Cool! Now I HAVE TO GO to my far away branch … how come no one told me anything last week when I called their hotline?
update: another thing, I was told to pick my new atm card as soon as possible because the old one will be canceled after sometime.

Well, when I updated my card they kept all the new cards in a tiny box so they’re delivered long before you requested I assume. Imagine thousands of cards handed out that have to be located and moved to different locations.
Once they delivered my card and pin to me, but when I ask them they say the service’s unavailable nor available before.

new atm cards got chip in them. must pick it up from main branch. normally they send them easily from one branch to another, except for this time because they’r brand new cards, must fill manual form for security purpose and sign on it..

call them and have them sent to your house, and you have to be there to sign it,,, talk firm with them, those 1801801 ppl are too dull and stupid, 7aram, not all, but the majority…

When you visit your far away branch just ask them to change your main branch to the closer one

I work at a bank as you know and well nearby I’ve got a branch of NBK, and you know after being all day at work, you get too tired to even bother going to your actual branch so when I popped in to do a transaction in between my day.. I thought to ask if I had a new ATM card and they told me yeah, of course no SMS was sent to tell me and I don’t read newspapers really.
Anywho so I asked the girl there to have it sent to me, she said we can’t. I asked why? She said because you have to update your information. In my head I’m like ummm and you guys can’t do it and send it because????
So yeah they suck, oh and I went yesterday to pick it up, not only is the Chip so cheap looking, the whole process took 30+ minutes for me to pick up just a card.
Where I work I try to deliver cards to customers in less than 15 minutes and without taking numbers and waiting.

They cancelled my debit card last month (after a Dubai trip) .. After three weeks, I have given up on trying to get my new card. They tell me its not ready.

yea, they do… you jus need to be there in person with your Civil ID to sign some papers….
you jus call them and force them to send you their driver, don’t take no for an answer, and if the operator person said no, then ask for his name, make sure u write it down, he/she will get scared and send u one
