I was taken by surprise when I got to work and found on my table a plant in a vase filled with water and my first pet fish! It’s not from a secret admirer it’s from my co-worker. I’ve been wanting a plant for ages and my co-worker knew that. So she thought of surprising me with one. But the fish is another story. I don’t like pets, I’m stuck with one now! It’s called a fighter fish. It’s red, it has long fins and she’s one scared fish. She swims away from my finger if I touch the vase. Though it’s really cute, how can I take care for it during the weekends when I’m at home? Doesn’t it need filtered water? I’m worried it might die?

I haven’t been out this weekend, I really wanted to but I noticed my son had a fever which started Thursday night and continued till today, reaching its highest on Friday, with a reading of 39.7 degrees.  It was scary! Of course we took him to the Doctors and I was reluctant to start him on antibiotics but he was getting worse. His fever wouldn’t respond to any fever medication. I had to take him for an antibiotic shot because I couldn’t get him to take it orally! He would spit and gag! We had no other choice left. Yallah ilhamdillah his fever went down after he got his 1st antibiotic shot. He got 2 shots, 3 shots more and inshallah we’ll be over with it. I hate shots!

Ilhamdillah we’re done from the house and I’m so pleased with the results. I cried last week as I looked at how beautiful our house has turned out, better than what we could have ever imagined, mashallah. We worked so hard every day to get things done on time and we did it, yaay!

It took ages to load for some weird reason! For those who have seen me does it look anything like me?

We’re pressured down by time to finish the house for my parents before they get back. I know stress is getting to me. I’ve been feeling a little depressed but today I’m feeling much better inshallah.

I want to take hasson for a haircut he badly needs one and what better time than today. I need to get myself contacts I’m wearing my last pair!

I’ve slept about 4 hours or less. I’m at work but I’m feeling so tired and sleepy right now. I wish I can take 30 min nap mani gadraa it’s really noisy here

I’m back to the girls who think I’m trying for a baby since August, that’s their latest silly rumour about me! Whatever that means. ooooofff minhom madree shagool!

I took a week vacation on the last days of ramadan, I’m glad I did. I took the time to pray and finish reading all the Quran. Ilhamdillah it brought me peace.

Yallah happy eid everyone though a bit late bas shasawy, my son was feeling unwell the 1st day of eid and the next day he felt better. We managed to visit our relatives on 2nd & 3rd days of Eid. But yesterday he got a mild fever again. Shabait shab oo harmal (plant) it helps clean the air and keep away all evil eyes.

I didn’t feel like Eid this year. Eid is not Eid without my parents and I miss them terribly. Ma boga wayid till they get back inshallah.

It’s the trend nowadays to go to the avenues and pick a fight with people or your partner even. I saw two guys running after one another. Funny thing is they took their qutra and sandals off so they can run faster. The cleaning guy cleared up their stuff from the floor. The cops were there seconds after the fight had started, which is great.

Time for breakfast and I’m one hungry lady. Have a nice working day people
