My son is addicted to the song above and I must admit that I am too. Yesterday I went to Swair’s costume party. I dressed up as a cowgirl. Hubby’s niece gave me her cowgirl hat and belt, with its toy gun. She gave me ideas too. I curled my hair for the 1st time in 4yrs. It’s different. I liked it. I think if it was longer it would look better though. Hubby didn’t like it curly. Anyways I don’t think I’ll be curling it again. Everyone looked great at the party esp. the hostess, mashallah. I liked her outfit very much. I had a blast and everyone was having a blast as well. Sad I had to leave before they lit the cake. I missed  it

We own an LG microwave and convection oven at home. I really love using it. A few months back I noticed that there was sth wrong with the convection only, everytime I set the temperature and timer it just stops emitting heat, otherwise when it’s on preheat mode it works fine. So husband took it to the workshop to get it fixed. The technician had no idea what was wrong with it. Husband explained that the convection oven is not heating when the timer is set. He kept thinking it’s the microwave!! Shako! Anyways, after a few days, hubby picks up the oven and I tried it at home only to know they did nothing to fix it! That was expected of them. I was pissed! Plus I don’t think it’s a major problem because everything else works fine. This time we called them up and got them to pick it up themselves. After a week time, still they can’t see anything wrong with it! Ay shay! I have to go there myself and demonstrate to their stupid technician the difference between a microwave and a convection oven? Why is he even working there if he doesn’t know the damn difference? WHY!!!

P.s. I’m never buying LG unless they do sth about their after sale services.

Funny thing is I ordered cupcakes but I picked up muffins instead! I didn’t expect much from them because the guy didn’t know what cupcakes were, but anyways they worked fine with me. Everyone liked them. We’ll have another family gathering at my father-in-law’s house before he travels for the summer so I’ll have to order them again for Thursday. This time I’ll make sure they’re real cupcakes.

Yesterday it struck me while I was busy decorating the house that it’s been three yrs since I gave birth and it felt just like yesterday. Time flies by so fast. The next thing I know we’re getting ready for his graduation. I can’t wait to see him turn into one smart, decent, handsome and successful man. I can’t wait to see him get married to the girl of his dreams. I know it’s too early to say this but I also want to see my grandkids! Inshallah I will…

If someone might ask where I see myself in 3yrs time I’d say: “I can’t see myself anywhere else but here.” That’s where I truly want to be.

Today my son turns 3yrs. I’ve only started preparing for his b-day yesterday. I really wanted to have a bigger party but I don’t think it’s possible this year either. Again, it’s going to be family only. I was stuck between Elmo and Bob the builder themes. I went with Elmo, I couldn’t find anything to do with Elmo here other than online shops and it’s too late to order anything now. I’m doing Elmo cupcakes and I got the idea from them. I had them ordered from Cake’n'Bake, about 2 dozens. All I have to do is add marshmallows and licorice jelly beans for eyes and orange gum balls for nose. I need a long tray to lay out the cupcakes and make number three. I’ll have to order another cake just in case cupcakes are not enough for everyone, of course with Elmo’s picture. I wanted an Elmo pinata but couldn’t find anything at party land. So what’s left is an Elmo balloon. I’ll have to check places that do balloon twisting for that. I would like the balloon to look like this. I’m thinking of getting some 100fils gifts for the other kids, as well as paper hats and whistles. What else do I need! I don’t think I’m going to do any decorating I don’t feel up to it, or maybe I should?

ps. I hope I don’t forget the candles
