Stolen in my country
On Friday I decided to go shopping with my sister in law and I couldn’t think of any other place that’s open other than Souq Salmiya. It was her very first time there, so I showed her around. We bought some uniforms for our housemaids. We were enjoying our time until we noticed we were missing some of our shopping bags. Turns out a lady in niqab who was standing next to us snatched them right off the counter as we talked to the sales guy! She didn’t buy anything from the store. Sij matestihi! She took the potato chips as well, ma agool ilaaa mokan ma yasri ma yemshi!

Sorry about that. But there are people without a conscious, not only in Kuwait but everywhere. Some of them kill to steal. They do not believe in anything and they have no faith. Look, ever since we came here, several incidents have happended with people killed. Allah give you rewards instead.

That is what I don’t like niqabs, you don’t know what type of person is under there. Could be a real ninja! You heard about the stories of men begging in front of Mosques where abaats and niqabs to masquerade themselves as women!
yala 7amdilla it wasn’t anything important!

bruntland, you’re right. she probably hasn’t any faith. Poor people will not steal or rob anyone because they have pride in themselves
marzouq, I didn’t hear of them but that’s so bad and no one can do anything about it even. I could tell she wasn’t kuwaiti though
aurous, I doubt she knew what’s in it. nothing in there would be any use to her
