x-country vs. k-country
I was talking to my co-worker from x-country. She told me that whenever she traveled back to her home country, guys from all over town would come propose to her and all her sisters as well! Which got me thinking about girls from k-country and how come when they get back from abroad, nobody comes to propose to them! Could guys from k-country be threatened by educated and independent girls? Or are they simply not very materialistic? Madree but it’s annoying either way!

it is not about being educated or independent. girls graduated from KU are educated too. the think just the idea she traveleing alone… lived a lone.. and what we saw back in the state when i was student .. make us look at girls graduated from there differently.. I am not saying that being I thkn we are angles … no .. am saying that because it is the way the kuwaiti male think…. I can write a long post regarding that,,, but daayeekh 7aady oo banaam….

hamoor, I don’t feel it’s fair for smart girls to be treated like this. All they wanted was an exceptional education and career and coming back to this harsh reality is unfair. Guys should not judge a girl like that kilish. Some KU girls can be as bad too. Just because they chose to stay with their parents it doesn’t make them any better.

you are right… am not saying that KU are angles.. they are many who are worst than shagool… what I meant enaass ma3alaaiha elaa men elthaaher. I am a US Graduate.. if you will ask me to merry US girl graduate I will say no.. what I saw there makes me NO WAY to merry Kuwaiti girl… am not judging all girls studied there.. but this is my experience… thats what i saw and learned …. guys are players too…. but in the enf they are MEN eshooloon what they have done..
its a fact we accept it or not.
i know there are many PURE girls who studied there. but in the end.. it is nesseeib
I know many girls who were SLUTS… but they get merried like cake… and I know really stright girls …. mesaakeein till date mayahoom neseebhoom ….
it is really a complicated way of thinking …

The questions you are asking imply that:
1. Kuwaiti girls that study abroad don’t get married.
2. Girls from X-Country (or just your friend) get proposals every day because they studied abroad.
From my experience .. I find that for number 1, the opposite is true.

Hamoor, I don’t know what to say, this is how you think, whatever it is you saw there can happen here too so there’s no difference. I don’t blame you either, that’s what other people think too
K, well they do get married eventually but all I meant is that she’ll have to wait longer than others for it to happen if she chose not to be in a relationship
I’m referring to this friend only but she also confirmed to me that in her country it’s very common for girls to get married in this way, but proposals are not on a daily basis. She pointed out that no one came to propose to her while she was in Kuwait. She got married 2 years back when she traveled in the summer, that’s how she met her husband.
I’m glad that you find that number one is the other way round, I sure hope so because it really brings a smile on my face hearing this from a kuwaiti guy
