Sad sad sad

Yesterday some workers took down our neighbour’s tree and in the next few days our trees will be cut down too. I saw many of our neighbours out of their homes looking at the mess caused by urbanization!Men shook their heads in sorrow. Others got their cameras out. Others refused to do anything about their gardens and cops were called on them.

Our back gardens don’t look the same anymore.

It has been robbed from its beauty …

omg why are they doing that? I mean aren’t the TREES on your own land? so it’s private property?

Just come and see Rochester, MN how green it is, while Kuwait is going back to greenless country, it is desert anyway so what is the big deal !!. Ask the environment activist how bad is this on environment.

They don’t realize what is damaging and what isn’t when it comes to the municipality.

Some people needed to get things straight, but some had beautiful gardens that they should have been allowed to keep.

  8. ??? Says:

ananyah, these trees are probably on public property.

  9. Pearls Says:

even if it’s not our property we’ve been taking care of it for the past 23 yrs +, so that gives us the right

It is sad what the Municipality is doing. All this because they have plans for the space where the trees have grown as a “walkway” now tell me, has anyone EVER complained about those gardens! 7aram wallah..

sorry to say but no, that doesnt give u the rite. its not your land.
just because u used it doesnt make it yours.

Sure some people were actually making the country look better/nicer, but the government has every rite to keep its own land barren.

eshda3wa, gardens are permitted by the government. I understand if they’re only cutting down some trees for view purposes it’s okay, but that’s not the case. we’re talking about the environment here, some trees were there since we moved to our home, others we planted because it’s our right as owners, given to us from the government. Destroying them is not right. It’s not like we have any other violations like our neighbours. We don’t have anything at all and trucks were all over our back garden!!
