Her: do you know why I haven’t bought myself a new pair of shoes yet? (she looked down at her worn out boots)

Me: yep, they look a little worn out but I’m sure they would last the rest of our winter. haven’t you saved enough money this month?

Her: laa it’s not that. I was just hoping they’ll be the last pair of boots I wear before I’m pregnant.

It’s strange how some people are desperate for one thing while others don’t even care the least about them. Subhan Allah!
