Changed his nursery
Starting from this month I’ve changed my son’s nursery because I didn’t feel he liked it there and I don’t think he learned anything.
Signs:
- he was so cranky when he came back home
- he didn’t want to go there the next day
- they lost his pics and I got pissed. I refused to bring anymore pics
- he was ill almost every week, actually from day one he got himself a cold
- one day he came back home with a bruise on his cheek, he was bit by a girl!
- his teacher couldn’t even spell his name right
- his teacher gave him candies
- his teacher seemed clueless on how to control her class
- his teacher would call one of the kids with a girl’s nickname, I felt so offended
I think the nickname was enough to make me want to drop him out asap.

There’s a nursery in yarmouk, Superkids I think, I hear that they give you some thing you connect to ur computer and u get to see your child. They have cameras all around the nursery.
Not sure how true that is, I only heard people talking about it.

Not sure he wont get sick anymore, children get sick all the time

if kids don’t like some place it affects them and so they become sick from that!
Good call on changing places if they do things like that!

I am sorry to hear about how they treated your little one
What a shame to make him hate school so early on- but I wish ya luck in finding another school soon hun.
And my kids were always sick too- no matter which school you put him in, he will get sick unfortunately…..cuz there are so many irresponsible parents who let their kids go to school sick.

Wee 7beebi walla.. I don’t blame him for hating it there lol
Zain etsaween, as soon as you felt the environment was wrong, you took him out, that’s responsible

chika, it was offending me so much I couldn’t stop thinking about it all day
enigma, I’ll tell you later I don’t want to mention it here.
chirp, heard about it but I had to consider nurseries around my area first just to avoid picking him up late, kids don’t like that.
Hasan, I know he might get a cold at this new nursery but for some weird reason I’m feeling more relaxed with him going there than the older nursery.
Marzouq, I’m starting to believe that myth
Nonowa, well he’s liking the new nursery, it’s in salwa. I hope his old nursery didn’t affect him in a bad way. I hate it when parents bring in their ill kids to nursery, when really they should be resting at home.
Swair, I don’t want to teach my son to run away from his problems and at the same time I wanted to be there for him so he won’t lose his trust in me, that’s why I wanted to wait and observe him first before changing to another nursery.

U should protect him from those problems not sit and observe! i dont know maybe your waiting for a black eye and a bite on the other cheek? for god’s sake he’s just a kid . save him from his mesory , the baby cant take any action!

Jojo, this is my way of protecting my child and letting him stand for himself. I wish I can protect my child from every damn thing but it’s not always possible. He needs to understand how to fight back on his own if he was hurt even at this age.

Chirp, thats right you can log on to thier website and se the classes live, they say its password secured so you might not be able to see anythign unless your son/daughter is registered! ( good job) they also say the place looks very colorful and creative. one thing i liked is that they had different teachers for english, they had an american and canadian, that is something Pearl would like.
.. anyways i leave with thier website..
