I love my work computer

Thursday, November 15th, 2007

I called some guy to fix some errors on my computer and apparently I was on msn chat. I left my office and when I got back, he wasn’t there but I found out that he changed my personal msn message from ‘my work computer sucks!’ to ‘I love my work computer!’

I couldn’t help laughing …

I see ‘em I buy ‘em

I can’t fight my urge to buy mint, rokka and parsley even when I know I have plenty at home.

Hope you feel better now

I paid my respects to Chika and her family, stayed for a while and left. I couldn’t help looking at puffed up lips, gave me an allergy everytime I looked at them. Puffy lips are so unattractive on her.

Swair’s gathering

Saturday, November 10th, 2007

I woke up and found an sms from Bana saying her granny passed away, Allah yerhamha. I felt so upset for her because losing someone for ever is not an easy thing bas hathee eldenyaa, moo dayma hag ay ahad. Such situations make me feel really awkward because madree shasawi to make people feel better, just being there for them.

Anyways, I was counting on Bana to show me the way but I managed to get Swair’s number, called her up and got her address. I knew I was going to be late. I think I was an hour late bas barkooleee, Jackie was first to arrive and I was second wohooo. Imagine!

Food was so good, so yummy and before I could lick my plate off the cat did lol. I hate cats, that’s final! I got to meet Swair, Sou, Enigma and some other girl (forgot her name) for the first time, it was nice meeting them. I’ll definitely meet up with them again.

Who was suppose to join us and couldn’t:

Bluedress and her sister - because they were with Bana, we missed you

At Nando’s

Saturday, November 10th, 2007

Ate at nando’s today opss I meant yesterday. First time I had nando’s I was in Dubai. Food here is way better than Dubai. It was so tasty I left no crumbs! I had lemon and herb chicken sandwich. It’s the same order I always have when I eat there. We ordered the meditteranean and portuguese salads. Let me point out something here both are the same only difference one had feta cheese on top while the other didn’t but the dressing was not bad at all. I had chicken and mushroom soup for starters, I have to say it was the best I’ve ever had, really yummy just right. Prices were quite reasonable too. One thing I disliked about the whole place was how stuffy it was.

That’s their take-out menu

Where art thou?

Ever since I had my blog facelift and .. poof … my favourite blogger-list went into thin air lol. I soon found out that this wasn’t going to be a problem because my fellow blogger friend Chika shared with me the same list, actually hers is even a better one.

I’ve created a little monster

Wednesday, November 7th, 2007

Hassan grabs at the kid’s eyeballs without reason, his teacher is complaining and some parents have come forth and complained about my son’s violent behaviour. Today I talked to him and asked him not to beat up kids, I told him to behave. What should I do? Should I take him out before they kick him out? I’ve noticed he’s not social at all and most of the time he’s on his own. Kids are so scared of him. They probably have nightmares of him too! I’m afraid he’ll turn into a bully. I don’t want my child to hit other kids except in self-defense. I don’t use much force with him. I might shout, pretend I’m very cross and spank him if he’s done a very bad thing like playing with an electricity socket or pulling at my hair. Some parents burn their kids with a match as a form of punishment and tell me they love their kids to death, that’s abuse. I’m not like that and I don’t think I’m spoiling him? Is it too early to worry about this?
