Look out

Sunday, June 10th, 2007

Several weeks back as I was about to drop a good co-worker of mine back home, I stopped and parked behind a car on the opposite street of her home, usually we chat a little before she leaves then all of a sudden with a ‘boom’ my car shook real hard, I knew I was hit by something … a guy reversed back on me. I freaked out and just when I was about to get out I see my friend jump out of the car screaming her head off at the poor driver, she was like ‘are you blind or what?’ I just sat there laughing at her, got out and told her to ‘calm down.’ I looked at my car first then his, there was nothing serious only a bit of paint came off so I told him not to worry and to watch out next time.

Long Nap

Hassan and I just finished eating our share of leftover lasagne. I hate leftover food but due to our hunger we both ate quietly.

P.s. three of us are down with a bad cold, but Rami and me got it from hassoni.

Dubai again

Monday, June 4th, 2007

We went to Dubai last week on Tuesday and got back Friday night. Rami had a 2-day training course so we stayed at SAS internet city which is closer to where his course is held. I really liked my stay there. The hotel was recently refurnished and I pretty much liked how it had a modern and stylish look to it. I had fun inspite of doing almost nothing from the morning to 6:30pm, during the times Rami was away, other than watching tv and hanging around in the lobby with my baby baby. Hassan enjoyed looking out the window at the swimming pool area and jumping up and down the bed lol.

I have to say that everytime I go to Dubai I’m much more impressed than before. I love how it’s growing at this fast rate and there’s always something to do there. I don’t want to even start on comparing Mall of Emirates or Ibn Battuta to the Avenues, no comparison. It’s sad really but it’s the truth, a mall as big as TheAvenues did not actually meet up with my expectations of a mall. I really hope this would change.

P.s. I won’t promise to post any pictures like most times I can’t keep my promise.
