Got promoted

I’m happy about it but at the same time I don’t think it’s right to celebrate when my brother’s ill and the girls at work are pushing me to do something big, can’t blame them they still don’t know anything. I’m still not sure I want to share with them anything just yet. So after some thinking I’ve decided I want to do a little breakfast at work but the girls don’t agree and will never do, they really want to go out instead. It’s hard to please everyone and esp. my co-workers but I’ve made up my mind about it.

Congratulations on your promotion! I’m sorry it had to fall on this timing but it’s good to know that your wokr is being appreciated. Congratulations again, hopefully this is the start of many great things. I hope your brother gets better soon!

Congrats girl and there’s nothing wrong with feeling happy for yourself, that’d actually be better for people around you, you know, positive thoughts :)

Congrats, you can’t please everyone but we’re used to breakfast (or brunch) at work when such a thing happens.

Congrats babes… I am really happy for you.. and about the celebration make sure to do what you want and not what they want.. Don’t succumb to their wishes, if they want something big then let them do it on their own time.
