300

Wednesday, March 28th, 2007

I couldn’t resist not watching 300 last night after all the talk I heard about the movie. I only managed to see the first half of the movie until I couldn’t struggle anymore to keep my weary eyes from closing and I fell asleep. I can’t stay up to watch anything anymore. At least now I know what’s the buzz all about. I really think it’s cool so far.

Super Early

Wednesday, March 28th, 2007

I woke up super early today that the road was so empty as I drove in every lane and I was even on the good side of the bus lol. I exercised my limbs when I got in the lift so freely, only the hidden camera would’ve seen me stretch out my arms and legs like that. I always try to avoid getting into a lift full of people because I won’t be able to get a glimpse of myself in the mirror, I can’t help but the feeling gets worse if there’s no mirror in the lift whatsoever, today I had the freedom of looking at my reflection as long as I wanted.

I’m not as happy as I sound early this morning because I’ve been let down by my life long co-workers, I like my co-workers but on numerous occasions I’ve gotten myself into situations and I’ve given them a chance, now I don’t see the point anymore. I guess everyone’s here for a specific purpose, mine could be done.

Yummie Kakaw

Sunday, March 25th, 2007

Ever since my baby turned one and I can’t seem to control what goes in his mouth. I’ve fed him ice-cream and chocolates before only because he demanded them. I really want to take a picture of ‘baby baby’ covered with choco all over his face. Now he can say “kakaw” pronounced “ka-cow” meaning chocolates. He loves having them and miraculously he stops screaming and crying if I feed him some. And if you remove one letter of “kakaw” you’ll know another word he can proudly say after doing number 2. I don’t need to explain any more or do I lol.

Very offended

Saturday, March 24th, 2007

I went with meemo on Thurs to pick her dress up from Zahra and while we were waiting I thought it would a great idea to let Hassan play on the slides there. After a couple of minutes I saw a girl in her 20′s approach us, sits on the chairs close by and looks straight at us. I looked at her hands I saw a shiny object, I looked closely and it was a very sharp pair of scissors, she passed them from one hand to the other. At some point she was even pointing them towards us. I didn’t know what to do but I felt quite threatened, nervous and very offended. I was ready to grab Hassan and meemo, and run for our lives lol. I didn’t feel comfortable with my baby playing around her either so all I could do was drag my baby away. There was something about the way she held those scissors that gave me the shivers. Still shivering!

- Doesn’t eat bananas or grapes anymore

Big smile

Saturday, March 24th, 2007

On the road, I’ve learned to smile really big and wave to say thank you to anyone who slows down to allow me to pass in front of their cars. Most times it was a lady driver. It’s really sweet. For once I really think there’s a chance for change.
