My Music Hits

Monday, October 30th, 2006

Here are some songs I listened to back in uni:

1. Kylie Minogue-Can’t get you outta of my head (I’d take off my trainers, turn the music on loud, drive fast and sing “lalalalalalala.”

2. DJ Crow’s remix (This guy is so talented and he has a blog too but he hasn’t been updating it. I’d loved his Googoosh & Ruwashid’s remixes, esp. on a happy winter day).

3. Mariah Carey-Never too far away (I’d usually put this song while I’m driving back home on a winter day).

4. Evanescence-My immortal (I only listened to that song when I’m in sad mood and it’s rainy outside).

5. Daniel Bedingfield-If you’re not the one (Chatting on the msn with friends and I had this playing in the background).

Baby fever

Monday, October 30th, 2006

I took a day off today because Hassan’s ill again and he got a fever since yesterday. I noticed he wasn’t feeling well at 4:30pm when I put him to bed. He was so restless I knew something was wrong. It was until 5:30pm I checked his temperature (underarms) and it read 38.5 degrees (I added 0.5 to 38.5 which equals to 39 degrees). I felt so worried but I quickly gave him some Adol, got dressed and took him to the Doctor. I was told to start him on antibiotics if the fever continues because he has a throat infection. I so hate antibiotics and I hate the smell of it, it makes me want to throw up! But what can I do?

From Work

Sunday, October 29th, 2006

I came to work an hour late. I had to finish up some lagging work from yesterday and I’m done now. I have nothing to do at the moment so I thought I should post a little. I’ve been so busy last week visiting relatives that I didn’t get to enjoy the holiday.

I took Hassan to Future Kids on Wednesday and the place was so packed with stinky people. We even had to wait in line so that Hassan can go on the kiddie rides. I’m not going to deny that it wasn’t exciting for Hassan because it was at first until the noise was just so unbearable, it was as if we were in the middle of London’s busiest streets. Kids were so hyper that some were climbing up on the games like monkeys!

It was a nasty experience. I really want to take him again but next time it won’t be in Eid.

My C.V.

I just finished updating my resume and there’s not much I’ve done in the past few years worth mentioning!

Last Week’s Gabga

Sunday, October 15th, 2006

Last week I got to see some of my college friends at a ‘gabga’ which is a gathering taking place in Ramathan, where the guests can bring along some food and just talk the night away. It was great fun, so much catching up to do. We looked the same but we all changed in our own way since last year.

Baby Words

Sunday, October 15th, 2006

My baby can say:

1. Nana = my name more or less.

2. Dijah = khadijah, the babysitter.

3. Boo = 3eeboo.

4. Beeh = ambeeh.

5. Gada = lunch

I’m not sure what else he can say because most of the time he’d repeat the same words I say.

Update: I added number 5.
