Piece of Meat
Tuesday, June 20th, 2006I was tired of waiting for the butcher to finish cutting up the meat, so I took a snap shot of this.

Local lamb costs 3.750 Kd per kilo at Sultan Centre.
More about the baby
Tuesday, June 20th, 2006My baby’s been falling a lot lately and I can’t do much about it. He hits his head on the bedboard like 2-3 times a day however I try to protect his little head. Even sometimes when he’s seated on the carpet he’d occasionally get off balance and fall backwards on his head, that hurts!
I can’t get him to sit and play in one place. He wants to pull up to a standing point all the time, holding onto my shoulders, chair or any other surface. Sometimes he let’s go and stands for 30 seconds all on his own. I’ve noticed that when he does let go he tries to fall down smoothly on his bum.
The cool thing is when IÂ ask my baby:Â where are the lights, he looks up at the ceiling, cuuute. And every time I want to brush his hair he’d grab the hair brush from my hands and points it more or less to his hair.
It’s so much hot
Monday, June 19th, 2006At 2pm, the temperature reached 48 degrees, wow.

Dark Dark Secret
Monday, June 19th, 2006Back in the 80’s, teachers were still allowed to spank, hit and abuse the kids in so many different ways in public schools, until this horrible and quite nasty practice was banned around the early 90’s.
I remembered an incident when my math teacher asked some girls who didn’t do their homeworks to get in queue in front of the whole class with their hands pulled out forward then the teacher got out a long wooden ruler and smacked them as hard as she can right across the knuckles. I shut my eyes and all I could hear is smack, smack, smack, smack, smack! I didn’t know what was going on and all this was so new to me. I thought it was pure evil …Â
I was an honour student back then and I was never hit by any of my teachers but I was extremely terrified. I really despised my math teacher for not showing any remorse when a little ginger head with frizzy hair, frightened as a rabbit, started screaming for forgiveness and rubbing her sore sweaty hands, yet the teacher continued on what she was doing to her! I could swear that she enjoyed it! I hated it her for frightening the girls in this way but I’m glad my parents decided to put me in a private school later on.

Sunday, June 18th, 2006I’m really looking forward to my cousin’s wedding next week, IÂ just love weddings and that’s what I love about the summer. There’s another wedding party I’m invited to next month and I can’t wait ..Â
Side incisors
Sunday, June 18th, 2006My baby’s upper side incisors (right first or is it left) are growing out, I checked them out myself yesterday, no wonder why we’re not getting any sleep lately and I’ve been getting a lot of biting too.
