This is for anyone out there who’s against women’s rights in the parliament, well I’m proud to say that I just finished casting my very first vote! This is a step forward to a better future …

I’d like to wish my cousin all the best. She looked like a princess yesterday, mashallah. I had so much fun at her wedding party that I was so exhausted when I got back home but we had to pick up baby Hassan from my granny’s house and he woke up as soon as I held him. He stayed awake until 1:45am. I think he had insomnia because he was twisting and turning in bed. I couldn’t get any sleep. I tried to be as calm as possible and I had to sing to him till he dozed off, lol.

I got up today morning feeling so sleepy I didn’t feel like going to work and I didn’t feel up to it but I had no one to back me up. I had no choice but to go..

Anyhow when I got to work and while I was seated in my car waiting for the bus, I glimpsed at a car with three guys park right next to mine. I felt a little nervous. I tried not to show it. I kept still and I tried my best not to look to the right but I could see with the corner of my eyes their menacing looks (what a bunch of losers!). But within a few minutes I look back and they were gone. I let out a huge sigh..

I just got back from Tubbz b-day party and I took along baby Hassan and Meemo, btw she turned two, while her mom turned 24. Happy birthday to both you.. I really enjoyed myself very much, and it felt so much like a high school reunion only with kids jumping around. I saw Obsessive Compulsive (Tubbz mom) and another classmate of mine. I haven’t seen them for ages! They haven’t changed the least bit, maybe they’ve put on a little weight but that’s it and both of them looked smashing. I also met up with Tooomz for the very first time and what a sweet person she is, I really enjoyed her company very much. We were talking like we knew each other. I think Meemo and Tooomz clicked very well. I’m also thankful that no party crashers showed up lol. It was such a great party!

P.s.s. Hassan got a little too friendly and started aiming for Tooomz nose, lol.

At last I got one hour of massage at SpaTime.

I won’t forget the first sounds my baby made when he was only a few months old, he made me laugh so hard as he howled like a wolf, loool. And now, my baby has learned how to feed me crisps but he still didn’t learn how to self-feed himself yet. I think one time he attempted eating an apple all on his own and what a mess he made! My baby has also learned how to make some sniffing sounds esp. when he wants my attention, other times he screeeams. What a baby!

Last week I got another invitation for a wedding party and so I’ve made up my mind to go tonight. I’m really looking forward to going because it’s a Bedouin wedding and in a way I enjoy their weddings so much, especially the music. But they have this strange tradition which at first I didn’t get until my sister explained for me and it is something I noticed, it’s whenever a young girl would get up to dance, her mom would get up too, not to dance with her, just to stand there next to her daughter and she would clap for her to the end. And this sends a straight message that this girl is 100% single to all mothers in the party who have single sons.

My baby’s such a hair-oine addict. I can’t control this anymore.. he can’t fall asleep without entangling his little fingers in my hair and tossing it all in his mouth! It’s so disgusting..

On a more brighter note, my baby’s making more sounds like ‘dada’ and ‘nana’ especially when he’s so annoyed. I can’t wait until he says his first words..
