I’m eating Food!

I can’t chew yet on my right side but I ate dinner. I had mashed potatoes, mushroom soup and jello for dessert. The bleeding has stopped but I think the painkillers are wearing off so I’ll be taking some more really soon.

    miskeena.

if you are a smoker, whatever you do, do NOT smoke! sucking on cigarettes will dislodge the forming bloodclots and reopen the wounds and increase infection.

I had all 4 pulled out in one go. well, the dentist had to crack them into smaller bits, and pull each piece out, since they were impacted, cause i had waited till i was 28 to take them out. VERY painful! My face was like a watermelon for almost 5 days, and kept my painkillers close;-) lol. also ate chicken soup… only consommes (watery soups) and broth.

Also, I had bits of gauze stuffed into the holes to suck up the bleeding, and stop food from getting into the sores. I also would have another couple of gauze pieces folded, and drenched in disinfecting fluid and placed between the top and bottom teeth, towards the back of the mouth.

    GOODLUCK!

lol I’m going through the same thing right now. Btw, my doctor did cut the tooth into two halves in order to pull it out because it was growing sideways. It’s much smaller than what I expected.

i was put to sleep when i had my surgery done, and i remember waking up in the middle of it, and hearing the dentist’s tools making some kind of noise against the teeth he was tring to pull out!!!

I was woozy and was like “what the fu..?”

I blacked out again at that point.

I’ve been awake during the whole procedure and it’s the constant pulling that bothered me the most!
