On Thursday we went to Juniors at Landmark or let me say Centrepoint. I remembered the stationary baby centre and I’ve always wanted to buy one for my baby. There was this ugly yellow one and another colourful one which I really liked and it costs 21.500 kd. So I let my baby try it out. He loved it. But we were not so sure we should buy it because as it seems my baby have out grown that thing. This looks just like the one we saw.

Anyways I was checking out some other stuff like carseats and baby carriers when something caught my eyes. I saw on the top shelf some safety gates and I needed one very soon. I really thought they were made for the protection of our babies from getting into any mischief, actually I meant protecting them from falling down the stairs.
Yet the pictures below don’t really confirm that theory. It’s as though they’re used to keep the dog away from the baby and mom. And if you really focus you’ll see some steps but I still don’t get it. Can dogs attack little babies? Here’s a better purpose: it keeps the mom away from the baby!

you can find these gates at ace hardware also. They are for kids and pets. I wanted to get one for Geo.
Ace has some large ones where you can create a “space” for your kid to roam in. Its like a 5 panel fence with one of them being a door that opens. I think it costs like KD90

Thanks Mark. I’m sure we’ll find better gates there.
