It’s quite funny how in our co-ops here in Kuwait I can never find on the shelves any fresh milk, yoghurt, cheese or anything without checking all yesterday’s goods and at the back of the shelf, I’d usually find stacked neatly behind the products .. today’s fresh dairy products. It’s consumer’s conspiracy!

1. Acts like a puppy.
2. Attacks like Chucky.
3. Bites like a Vampire.
4. Creeps like a seal.

On Thursday morning I went to the Hilton resort in Mangaf with my family and we stayed there till 4pm. I must say it was lots of fun.

It was Hassan’s very first time to actually go to the beach yet alone swim in the waters. I didn’t initially intend to dip my baby in the water but I quickly changed my mind once I saw all the kids there and how much fun it was.

I decided to let my baby experience his very first swimming sensation in the pools but I did the silliest thing in the world I actually immersed my baby in the pools with his diapers on, I just thought it won’t make any difference because all the little kids pee there anyways. I really laughed so hard when I saw how much water the diaper absorbed when I got him out of there. So I had to take them off. But I didn’t expect my baby to love the waters that much. My baby was kicking his legs so fast like a puppy.

One thing I found quite silly is taking pictures was not allowed and I don’t understand why especially when it wasn’t even a ‘ladies only’ swimming days. So I couldn’t take any pictures of my baby’s first swim in the waters. Anyways, I didn’t let anything spoil the fun and my sister got him a trainer’s swim float. I really got soaked too. It was worth it.

Afterwards I took a few moments to check out the Bentleys and Chopard watches not that I’m interested in buying one but because I think they were celebrating something.

On Friday I worked so hard clearing my stuff out of the living room because Meemo had enough with my stuff in her room. But I was so angry and furious with her for doing so. After I was done around 2:30pm, I had my lunch, and cried while I watched American Inventor.

For dinner we ordered Papa John’s and it’s one of the tastiest pizzas I’ve ever tried. It’s really yummie just like how Mark described it.

Later on we watched an episode of the.OC. even though it’s not one of my favourite shows anymore but nevertheless I’m still watching it. And basically that was my day.

Sometimes I can’t help but giggle when I see two love birds seated in the car for long hours in the parking lots.

It bothered me a lot today when I saw a foreigner eating sunflower seeds in his car and spitting the shells out window. I won’t dare throw any litter in this country and same goes to any other country I’ve been to.

My sister gave me some of her fabulous recipes for making pizza dough, cupcakes, scones, cream caramel dessert and sponge cake. I’m really trying my best to get hold of her cheesecake recipe too. And I promised her I won’t give them to anyone whatsoever.

I’m getting so hungry now. It’s impossible to focus on anything else now but the heavenly taste of the strawberry muffins she bakes for us. Yum yum yum.

I have an obsession with Fauchon’s fruit tarts.
