Yesterday I went to check out the sale at Next, Mothercare and Debenhams. They’re celebrating 1000 stores in the Middle East. Other than how crowded and disorganized the shops were there’s nothing worth mentioning.

But I did buy some pj’s for my baby from Next and two swimsuits from Mothercare (1 kd each). I couldn’t believe it when I saw the quilt covers we bought earlier this year for half the price at Debenhams, bedding section.

After that I met up with a friend of mine at La Piazza to eat lunch there, I just love going to that place maybe because it’s so peaceful and the food is so yummie. The Greek salad was so so so tasty.

In less than 30 minutes, I’ve seen so many cigarette buds laying around everywhere. It’s everywhere on the streets, grass, sand, and anywhere I go. It looks ugly and it’s downright rude.

Every morning I have to sneak out of the house tip toe walking because my baby would start acting up everytime I’m around. I hate doing that because it’s just so sneaky.

Anyhow let me refresh my memory for now, going back a few months back .. which milestones have my baby reached so far:

1. Makes sounds like gagagaga.

2. Turns head from side to side whenever he’s sleepy or annoyed. 

3. Learned how to chew food, especially after I introduced chicken and lamb meat.

4. Shakes arm up and down whenever he’s angry.

5. Top middle teeth are coming out soon.

6. My lazy baby hasn’t crawled yet and he’s on his four only when he wants something.

7. Follows my fingers if I point at an object.

8. Cries when I say ‘no’ or ‘bye!’

9. I had a terrible time bathing my baby before, it took me ages and I would get a lot of crying and water splashing everywhere but now I can’t seem to get him out.

10. My baby is going through this ’stranger anxiety’ phase but it doesn’t last more than 5-10 minutes with every new person.

11. Goes from tummy position to semi sitting position.

12. Loves popping bubbles.

13. Gets hiccups after laughing.

Today is my eldest sister’s birthday and I’m not sure yet whether or not my brother planned anything. For now I need to buy a gift and I’ve run out of ideas.

On a school night, little Cinderella was aroused from her sound sleep around midnight by the same wicked voice screaming, ‘wake up, wake up! The little sleepy 6 year old drags herself slowly out of her old discoloured wooden bed and walks unwillingly to the adjacent room. She grabs two diapers out of the drawer, some wipes and two toys. The girl attempts to change the diaper of one of the twins while trying to calm down the other one with the toys. It took her over 20 minutes to finish that, all on her own, and mom sat in front of the tv set munching away on some pumpkin seeds …

I just came back from court, my co-worker got married at last and I was her Matron of Honour! This was my very first time in court and it’s so much different than what I expected. No cameras were allowed. It took them over 3 hours to get the paper work done but once that was finished, I gave out sweets to everyone in the waiting area. I just feel so happy for my co-worker. I wish her all the best.
