Say Nothing

I had to turn on my comment moderation because someone posted some rude comments on my blog, and as rude as this may sound: “if you don’t have anything nice to say, then shut up!”

My Teeth

Saturday, January 21st, 2006

My baby’s teething and I’m teething too, lol. At long last two of my wisdom teeth are growing out, and what took them so long! And the bad news, I might need to have them surgically removed because they’re not growing upwards and I don’t want to end up with teeth overlapping! So I really need to go soon, but I really don’t know any good dentists here?

But damn, why does it have to be that painful?? So I took the advantage of using some of my babies teething gel and that’s not the first time I try any of my baby’s stuff. It was so tempting the first time when I had this urge to try some of my baby’s lotion, and now I can’t stop! The only thing that I won’t dare try is my baby’s food, because I hate baby food, it’s so mashed up!

Baby Talk

Friday, January 20th, 2006

Lately, my baby’s been doing really funny sounds, how can I describe them, hoarse-like sounds, actually more like the sounds you make when you’re at the dentist and you open your mouth wide and go ‘aaah’!

I really don’t understand from where he learned that, at some point, I thought it must be something he picked up from my mom because she’d usually try to imitate a rooster and goes ‘kukukookoo!’

I dunno … so maybe it’s just a developmental phase he’s going through!

I guess he’s not the only one getting excited over here because the day I bought the Sony DSC-V3 camera for my husband, I vowed to myself that I would continue taking photos of my baby, as unprofessional as it sounds. And looking back at the pictures I took; they were not so bad to me, only thing my husband disliked was most of the pictures were out of focus. I wasn’t really looking for perfect pictures, and I was after a picture of the moment.

My old Hobby

Thursday, January 19th, 2006

I hope I don’t sound like granny, but I felt like going back to knitting, and this time I want to work on a scarf for my son because last year when I was pregnant, I was unable to finish a scarf I was doing for my husband, I wasn’t even half way through! I’m feeling a little guilty now …

Our Dear Prince

Your Highness,

I’ve seen your pictures everywhere on the news, and in the papers, yet I haven’t had the honor to meet you.

We’ve heard so many stories of your kindness, and I admire that in you.

And I won’t forget the days you paid your respect to both of my grandfathers by actually going to their funerals. You’ve given us so much …

But you left, and I didn’t get the chance to say thank you!

I’ll miss you so much!

Yours Truly,

A Loyal Citizen

A smile worth a million dollar!

I’ve noted for the past few days that my son had a few loose bowel movements, and that he was quite cranky, which is out of the usual. I suspected he’s teething a week or so before. So, my sister-in-law and her niece advised me to try a teething gel called Dentinox to relieve his gums. I did use a little bit it on my baby’s gums, and because it contained Lignocaine Hydrochloride, a local anaesthetic, so I disliked the idea of using it more than once a day.

Today when I was checking his gums, and as I looked, I thought I saw a tooth, and that’s when I felt with my index finger the sharp incisor on his lower left gums.

I’m so Lost!

We finished watching season one of Lost yesterday, and even though I watched bits and pieces of it because all the time I’d fall asleep during the episodes, I must say it’s really cool, and the more we watched, the more we got confused loool!

P.s. Hugo needs a haircut!
