Rent vs. Buy
I’m thinking of renting a car because there are so many advantages that my husband listed for me last night. But I’m still unsure because I like owning a car.
My current car is a Jeep Grand Cherokee (98); and it’s growing old. And on the streets, I saw the most breathtaking car, the new Infiniti G35 Coupe, which I thought was pretty cool! But I like jeeps so Infiniti FX is more my style. I really need to go out on a test drive and see for myself what I prefer.
Before I decide I want to look around for other cars. I have no other ideas on what to rent or buy?

owning is better if you are planning on keeping the car after you are done paying for it. the longer you keep the car the more money you make.. thats how i like to think of it.
i dont know what your budget is but the best suv in the market at the moment is the Land Rover LR3 but visually its love it or hate it.. and a lot of people hate it.
Infiniti FX is also pretty cool, looks like a sports car with large tires. The Volvo XC90 is a nice SUV, and very safe and swedish. The new Grand Cherokees haven’t been getting any positive reviews so although I am a Jeep fan I wouldn’t recommend it. The Touareg used to look cooler before but now that I have gotten used to it, it feels a bit boring compared to say the Infiniti FX or the LR3, but its still more interesting then a Volvo.
The new Mercedes SUV looks great but I don’t know how much they cost, I am guessing 20K+
