Baby Teeth

Tuesday, January 31st, 2006

Around last week, I think my son’s second tooth showed up. And with two now, I should really watch out because anytime soon he’ll be biting us.

I also started brushing his teeth using pigeon’s lesson no. 1 trainer toothbrush, and I haven’t used toothpaste yet because I heard that some babies can get allergies with some brands. So in other words, it’s a lot of hard work …

Fire Fire!!

Sunday, January 29th, 2006

My husband just got a call and it seems that 6th floor of Town Exchange Communication building got burned down! This is a major thing that caused all ISPs in Kuwait to go down.

Here’s an update: TheKuwaiti.

And another update on this issue:
Rami posted a comment about what really happened, here’s what he said: ”Just to update everyone, the fire started around 10:30pm and it hit the whole 6th floor of TEC. KEMS/Zajil shutdown their systems around 1:15am since the temperature got high and they restored it around 5:15am after getting the green light from MOC. Fasttelco got the most hit since they occupy most of the 6th floor and their network monitoring center is on the same floor.”

Nanny Cams!

Thursday, January 26th, 2006

I’m looking for a ‘nanny cam’ to monitor my baby while I’m not around, and I found so many professional ones. And I thought this existed only in James Bond’s movies because I was so amazed to see a huge collection of hidden cameras available online in so many snoopiest designs.

Let me mention a few wireless styles: teddy bear, digital clock/radio, cigarette packs, air purifier, binder, card file, computer speaker, and organizer box .. I could go on and on. They come in anything & most of them have a two year warranty!!! See for yourself: Wireless Pre-Hidden Cams.

I really thought I’ll have trouble placing the camera somewhere out of sight, now I don’t have to!

Many More to Come!

Today we had a surprise party for both my sister-in-law (who turned 23 yesterday), and my nephew (who turned 8 today). I really wish both of them a happy happy b-day!

So far we’ve celebrated two more birthdays this week, and meemo’s b-day; that’s three, not to mention another one I couldn’t go to and one next week.

As it seems this month, we had 5 birthdays; starting with my brother, then my husband, my sister, my sister-in-law, and ending with my nephew.

Ooh well, I wish I was born this month tooo, to get it over with! And, I really hope that we continue sharing these happy moments together …

Talented!

Meemo posted a poem called ‘See?’ on A Short Poem. I think she’s very talented!

Rent vs. Buy

Monday, January 23rd, 2006

I’m thinking of renting a car because there are so many advantages that my husband listed for me last night. But I’m still unsure because I like owning a car.

My current car is a Jeep Grand Cherokee (98); and it’s growing old. And on the streets, I saw the most breathtaking car, the new Infiniti G35 Coupe, which I thought was pretty cool! But I like jeeps so Infiniti FX is more my style. I really need to go out on a test drive and see for myself what I prefer.

Before I decide I want to look around for other cars. I have no other ideas on what to rent or buy?

Meemo turned 18

I wish her a happy happpy happppy b-day! We’re having a small family gathering today to celebrate.

My little sister is my very best friend, though most times we never really get along, particularly when it comes to room sharing and shopping. But I love her like crazy anyways…

And I’ve made a list of 8 reasons why I simply love her:

1. She does the most beautiful French Braids.

2. Her voice is so sweet esp. when she’s singing “Never Too Far” by Mariah Carey.

3. She’s very honest. I don’t remember a day that she had to lie about anything to anyone.

4. She’s so funny, and fun to be with. She made me laugh so hard when she tried to imitate Dr. Phil.

5. I admire how she won 3rd place in badminton without practicing.

6. She’s one of the few people I know who look good in specs.

7. Her room is so neat and that’s why she never lets me in.

8. I can borrow her cool stuff whenever I want.

Who can know her and not adore her?

Update: I was so busy that I almost forgot to post about my baby’s first syllables. This time I knew it was coming so I didn’t scream as much as when he rolled over. He started to babble sounds like ‘baba’ or ‘mama,’ when showing dislike or anger.
