Dad’s Birthday Gift

Monday, December 12th, 2005

We decided to buy Dad an x-box for his b-day because he’s been wanting one ever since me and Rami bought ours. Hope he likes it! I bet he’ll love playing his favourite contructing game tetris!

I remember years and years back .. how my brother’s gameboy; that dad bought for him, would go missing, only to know that dad is going bonkers over it! Loool ..

Monday, December 12th, 2005

I was looking for a phone number, so I called 101 (telephone directory), and they couldn’t find it as usual. So my little sister suggested I look it up myself on Kuwait Yellow Pages, okay!!! Never knew they had a webpage. And so I did, and I found the number I was looking for … only if I knew earlier I wouldn’t have bothered 101 at all!

Update: I’ve just added the pic. of the b-day cake that we got from Mr. Baker, yummie …

My son’s down with a bad cold … ya habeebi …

We took him to the Doctor’s, who told us not to worry, and assured us that everything will be fine.

Inshallah he’ll get well in no time!

Bye-Bye Motion Sickness

Monday, December 5th, 2005

My brother was talking to me about this wristband, which he bought so he could enjoy a cruise; without worrying about being sea sick! It costs around 100 dollars. It works by sending electric pulses via nerves to the brain, which in turn signals back to the organs responsible for making a person feel nauseous. I wish I used that when I was pregnant …

Great device …

I’m quite fascinated that a surgery of this sort could be done. And the good news is that it’s possible now, and France carried out the 1st surgery of this kind.
