My Dad Left to Jordan

Sunday, May 29th, 2005

Three days ago, my dad left to Jordan to attend a conference there. He was doing very well, until last night … he fell sick. I think he’s suffering from food poisoning because he has severe diarrhoea and fever. I’m quite worried, I’m so glad that my sister and my brother-in-law went with dad.

Is the food really bad there???

Good things about Pregnancy

Wednesday, May 25th, 2005

Good things about pregnancy, and let me miss the part about needing a whole new wardrobe and terrible weight gain, especially if you’re looking for a new look, then you’ll definitely have that as part of being pregnant.

1.You won’t have to consider having a plastic surgery for beauty marks because moles naturally appear on cheeks, noses, shoulders, and anywhere you wish.
2. You won’t need tanning beds or sunbathing at the beach because skin naturally goes tanned.
3. You won’t have to worry about locking yourself in your room or avoiding people because you won’t be complaining of PMS pains or mood swings.
4. You can save up on waxing and sugaring because hair growth is much less.
5. The best part is that people will always feel sympathetic with you, and that’s a thumb ups if you’re in the co-op!
6. At the end, you’ll get the best surprise of your life … and strictly speaking, Kuwaiti preganant ladies working in governmental institutions … get 2 months maternal leave with a full paid salary, and 4 months optional with ½ paid salary …

Out with Bloggers

Wednesday, May 25th, 2005

We met with some friendly bloggers yesterday at Fanar to see ‘Star Wars.’ I’m not into science fiction movies so I slept throughout the movie, but didn’t miss the ending for the world! I liked the plot, then again I thought the fighting was just too much for me. And, the baby wouldn’t stop kicking until quite past midnight, it probably had a terrible fright.

Later on, me and my hubby went to Sultan Center and bought sandwiches, which I ate in the car on our way back home, I thought if I waited until I got back home then I’d feel too sleepy to eat. I’m just so not used to waking up early and staying up late.

Overall, I enjoyed gathering up with bloggers, but didn’t get to know them very well though …

The A/C

Wednesday, May 11th, 2005

I’m so fed up with the girls at work because they keep ordering the department responsible for the A/C to alter the room temperature to over 22!! The problem is that the office would begin to feel stuffy, and I’d start to feel quite breathless, and I’d be almost ready to faint!

At some point, I thought of getting my own fan to work …

Everyone complains that it’s freezing in the office, including me, but I just can’t handle getting out of breath, it hurts my lungs!

But the best part is that we still get to keep the room temp. the way it is because my Assistant Manager, thankfully, agrees with me.
